Course content:
(1) General Japanese courses
The students can learn Japanese through grammar and reading courses, listening comprehension, conversation, and Chinese characters and writing. A placement test will be given to the students before entering the program to assess the approximate level of their knowledge of Japanese grammar and usage.
(2) JLPT Seminar I・II
In these courses, students study preparing for Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) or Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU).
(3) Tutorial I・II
Tutorial classes are run by a member of KIIS’s academic teaching staff in a smaller groups. Tutorials help the students review the lecture content related to the course through a group discussion or talking with the tutors. Educational guidance and counselling is also offered to all the students when required in these classes.
